in chinese history, there were only two armies named after generals. one was the famous yue jiajun and the other was qi jiajun. qijiajun base is located in qioting village, chian town, about 20 kilometers south of yiwu city. the terrain here is unique. in the valley of the two mountains, a magnificent "arc de triomphe" towers with two eaves stand up. a "great wall" stretches out on both sides of the city building, winding down like a dragon descending the mountain.
qi jiguang was a famous general of the ming dynasty who resisted japanese invaders. in fact, the mainstream of qi jiajun was yiwu soldiers. under qi jiguang's strict training, qi became a brave and fighting team, which made the japanese invaders disgusted. it took only five years for qi jiajun to wipe out the japanese invaders who had been suffering from the southeast for hundreds of years. after the japanese invaders were eliminated, qi jiguang and yiwu soldiers transferred beijing's defense to guard the 1000-kilometer great wall in jibei, thus keeping the border peaceful for decades.
from the perspective of cultural and spiritual inheritance, yiwu soldiers have always advocated the spirit of honor, perseverance and protection of the country. this spirit has been concentrated in the "qi jiajun" resistance. in today's shopping malls, yiwu people rely on the spirit of qi jiajun to create one after another "yiwu miracles".
officials of senyu holding group said that when senyu intervened in the operation of qijiajun base, it would improve and upgrade the existing facilities and display content, and make it a modern demonstration base integrating tourism, sightseeing, health preservation and patriotism education, so as to inherit and develop the spirit of qijiajun.
